Need plain text versions of all articles on the website. Do we have them ready? Yes, Chandras Prabhu has them and will be importing all the content.
Need a simple and Crisp layout (search around the net and find a good layout to begin with – we don’t need to reinvent – the net clearly tells us what works and what doesn’t, we really don’t need to experiment much) We will use the Mimbo Pro WordPress theme.
Each article will have a single primary image associated. Minimize or remove other images that are part of the content unless having them will help convey the message more easily. If using images, kindly use decent ones, don’t use clip-art or less quality images. Everyone agreed.
If article is long, split into multiple pages for easier reading (give a link – “Click here to read this article on a singe page”)

Strict adherence to Usability, do not compromise this for anything (read useit.com when in doubt and then check prominent sites like Google/Yahoo and see how they do stuff – we just have to copy them)
All articles will be in plain text format, no pdfs.
Organize articles by Categories and sub-categories. Improve existing Categories.
Use tags
Layout must enable users to read the articles easily (eg. do not clutter the page with a 3 column layout – content must take up majority of screen real-estate)

Allow users to download lectures (transcriptions must be made available when ready – these will help a lot in Search Engine Optimization)
