How can we access Lord Chaitanya’s mercy in this age when the standards are high and the culture is hostile?

As devotees we are aware that Lord Chaitanya has come in the age of Kali yuga to distribute his mercy freely & teach the process of Bhakti yoga & chanting of the holy names, when we study the pastime of lord chaitanya we also learn how the associates of Mahaprabhu the great Acharyas who led a very strict & discipline life who attained Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s mercy. From this pastime we learn that attaining mahaprabhu’s mercy is not easy as though he was merciful to all but at the same time had a very strict disciplinary regime

How in this modern commerce driven age can we devotees live in a way to attract mahaprabhu’s mercy, when we know are progressing in a time where religious principles, scriptures, & devotional principles are not accepted by the general public & in return devotees face a uphill struggle to survive.
