Should a devotee consult Vaastu shastra?

Should a Krishna Conscious person consult Vaastu shastra expert while building a house or flat? I have seen ISKCON temples being constructed after consulting Vaastu experts. But I am not able to arrive at any decision for myself.Can you please guide me with proper reasoning whether to consult a Vaastu expert or not?
