Whom do I trust is actually the truth?

I recently came to know about a movie Kumare (http://kumaremovie.com). Seeing this I perceive that spirituality just gives you a perception to see this world and you start believing that. Actually that is true even otherwise as we live on perceptions materialized by either through society, culture etc. So, in this world whom do I believe. After all in everything, whether science, religion, gamble, war, business we just live on those developed perceptions. Whom do I trust is actually the truth. If you say religion or scriptures well, I am skeptical about that and may be it is just another perception of this world.
